The Classic

This style primal wood fire pit belongs in just about any backyard you can think of. You can have a raised pit or one that sits on the ground. Typically when you think classic fire pit it’s round in shape. There are plenty of other shapes available but the circular fire pit will always be the classic. Depending on how much time you spend around the fire pit, you will go to bed smelling like smoke. Choose stainless steel, carbon steel, or corten steel for longevity of your fire pit. 

Since being a young boy 30 plus years ago, I remember my Dad having a fire pit (and sometimes a bon fire). It was surrounded in a circle by family and friends and was not only the centerpiece of the get together but also the beacon for when the darkness set in and you had to make a trip to the house, or were hiding during a game. You can stand around it, sit by it, cook with it, and you always get that feeling that everything is good.
